A transplant to Northern California, Shelene (Shelly) Perriard earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master’s degree in both Business Administration and Organizational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Walden University respectively. She completed her professional coaching certification through the UC Davis Extension and is a certified coach through the International Coach Federation.
Shelly began her journey as a Career and Leadership Coach in 2007 after more than 30 years as a successful business leader and trusted advisor in the financial services industry. She left corporate America to stay home with her newborn twins and figure out what was next. With a passion for people and connecting them to work they love, Shelly uses her experience as a successful business leader and Myers-Briggs practitioner to help individuals find their best fit work. She believes that engaging in a profession that aligns with your strengths, interests, and natural preferences enables you to do your best work.
As a leadership coach, Shelly leverages her executive experience building strong relationships and successfully leading teams through significant mergers, reorganizations, and change initiatives. She understands the challenges leaders face through times of growth and transition, specializing in one-on-one coaching with executives, business leaders, and high potential talent. Shelly also understands team dynamics and provides expertise in team building and performance coaching using her knowledge as a practitioner of Conversational Intelligence® and Myers-Briggs to build trust and partnership through transformational communication. Shelly’s coaching style is collaborative and insightful, direct and pragmatic. She believes in the power of inspiration and purpose driven work with her role being to partner with individuals and teams to discover what is possible.
Shelly is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Bay Area Association of Psychological Type (BAAPT), She volunteers her time in the community as a life coach for Girls on the Run Napa-Solano and provides MBTI workshops and career coaching to local high school students. Shelly resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
