ICF Sacramento Chapter. Connect more 2024
President's Message

As the back-to-school season kicks off and we head into fall, our chapter is bustling with activity. We're gearing up to write our annual chapter activity report, reflecting on the incredible work our community has accomplished over the past year. Your dedication and involvement are what make our chapter thrive.

Looking ahead, please mark your calendars for some exciting upcoming events. Our Fall Mixer and Holiday Party dates are now available on the ICF Sacramento website calendar. These gatherings are great opportunities to connect, celebrate, and strengthen our community.

Have you ever considered serving on the board? Starting in September, we'll be actively recruiting for a few open roles. This is your chance to contribute to the leadership and direction of our chapter. The open positions include Treasurer, Director of Administration, Director of DEIB, and Director of Credentialing.

If you're interested in any of these roles, please reach out to the President’s team. We’d love to have you join us!

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement.

Warm regards,
Lisa Laughter
President, ICF Sacramento

Ignite Program Update.

We are at the mid-point of our six-month pro bono coaching engagements. 36 coaches from our chapter are generously donating their time to coach 55 changemakers at the following social impact organizations:

Sacramento State University EdD Program: Doctoral candidates committed to developing anti-racist policies, moving systems toward educational equity; and embodying social justice, radical hope, and collective possibilities.

Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program: Providers of leadership training customized to the specific challenges faced by culturally diverse leaders.

Women’s Empowerment: Educates and empowers women who are experiencing homelessness with the skills and confidence necessary to get a job, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children.

3Strands Global Foundation: Envisions a world free from human trafficking. Mobilizes communities to combat human trafficking through prevention education and reintegration programs.

We are excited about what we can accomplish together!
