Is it really Fall? Moving quickly into winter? I don’t know about you, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around that truth. Where did the year go? Well, this is for many the harvest season, the time for gathering, cutting, drying, and preparing for next year. Where are you in this process?
As we wind down 2020, ICF Sacramento is preparing to review just what we did, what worked for us as a Chapter, for our membership, for our community, and where we might have opportunity to make improvement next year. We do not want to do this alone, we need your input, your insight to make our Chapter the thriving entity we would like it to be. Here is some of what you can expect in the coming weeks.

Achieving Your Dreams | Experience Coaching: Gain Confidence, Own Your Identity
| | | We're thrilled to announce that one of our members, and Treasurer of ICF Sacramento has released his movie Accidental Climber which premiered August 11 on VOD/Digital and DVD platforms (US/CA). Accidental Climber tells the story of Jim Geiger, who at 68 years old, attempts to become the oldest American to summit Mt. Everest.
Find out more about Accidental Climber on social media

or you can check it out on iTunes https://apple.co/2E7dKH1
A portion of all sales for Accidental Climber will go to the International Mountain Guides fund supporting their entire team in Nepal through the economic disaster brought on by the pandemic. This same fund supported guides, their families, and communities in the 2014-2015 seasons after the avalanche that occurred during my summit attempt.

At ICF Sacramento, we always put our members first. Recently, we created an on-going partnership with one of the biggest leaders in coaching education, WBECS. Thank you to all who have registered for WBECS programs using our chapter’s affiliate link. When you register through ICF Sacramento, our chapter receives amazing bonuses that we can pass on to our members.
Last month, we were given two premium passes to the WBECS Summit. This is WBECS’ premier offering with guests like Marshall Goldsmith, Marcia Reynolds, Michael Bungay Stainer, and many more. 2020 ICF Global Coaching Study & COVID-19 and the Coaching Industry
The 2020 ICF Global Coaching Study is the largest coaching industry research study in history. It incorporates 22,457 valid survey responses from coaches and managers and leaders who are using coaching skills in 161 countries and territories. You played an integral role in the survey’s success by championing the research in your local community to help to ensure a successful, truly global survey. Thank you!
Because the survey closed right before COVID-19 changed the world forever, the 2020 ICF Global Coaching Study represents a new benchmark for us – the last global survey of the coaching industry conducted entirely before the dramatic changes COVID-19 has made to how we live and work.
To get a clear picture of how the pandemic has impacted coaches so far, in June 2020 ICF and PwC launched a snapshot survey, COVID-19 and the Coaching Industry. In less than one month, the survey yielded more than 10,000 responses from 140 countries and territories.
| We lost administrative control of our Facebook page for a while! With great persistence and determination Tina Shaw got through to Facebook and got our admin. control back. If you are on Facebook search for @ICFSacramento, please give us a Like and follow, and we'll keep the good information coming.
