Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships

Wendy Green

Wendy leverages her natural instincts for empathy, listening, and connection to support others in looking beyond the surface, embracing their priorities, stepping into the light, and finding where they fit in the world. She came to coaching after a series of difficult life events left her feeling disconnected, unfulfilled, and overwhelmed. Her coaching practice focuses on people seeking what she found – purpose, fulfillment, and joy. She coaches lawyers and any other professional looking for harmony and balance in their life, as well as leaders looking to level up their communication skills.

She has been an attorney in the Sacramento area for more than 25 years. She is also a Certified Performance Coach and has her ACC credential from ICF. She has a decade of previous board experience in education development and fundraising in the legal community. She also served on the Grants Advisory Commission for the City of Roseville.

Wendy’s interest in the ICF Sacramento Board of Directors comes from two of her core values – community and connection. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, she plans to maintain and further develop the relationships created by others who came before her and to build new relationships with other sectors that may not know what coaching is or how we can support each other. She has relationships with other ICF coaches and chapters, which will support her efforts to expand ICF Sacramento’s reach and opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship.

In her free time, Wendy enjoys exploring California counties in her campervan (named Betty White). She looks for good food, good beer, and good vibrations. At home she loves all forms of entertainment – TV, movies, books, and music. On Wednesdays you can find her trying to win trivia with a team of misfits she has known for years.

Laurie-Rich-242x242.png

Associate Director of Administration

Laurie Rich

After struggling greatly to find purpose, meaning, and self identity after the sudden death of my husband in 2019, my path forward became clear: I wanted to work with widows and help guide them from merely surviving to thriving.

As a Certified Grief Coach and Certified Integrative Somatic Practitioner, I work with women and those identifying as women who have been widowed from their spouse, partner, or companion. Since 2020 I’ve worked with widows around the globe as a coach, advocate, mentor, grief companion, and support group facilitator.

I work with widows of all ages, partnership statuses, loss circumstances, and faiths/belief systems. I journey beside them as they commit to a healthy grief process and the renegotiation of the manifestation of grief, loss, and trauma in their body, choosing to walk directly into (and ultimately through) their pain and grief, then committing to giving themselves a future of purpose, meaning, and joy.
