Monthly Meetings
Join us the second Tuesday of the month to deepen your learning on four primary topics: Your coaching business, your coaching skills, self-care for coaches, and credentialing. We invite speakers from within and without our membership to share their expertise.
Core Competency Webinars
The ICF Core Competencies were developed to support greater understanding about the skills and approaches used within today’s coaching profession as defined by ICF. The updated ICF Core Competencies were released in November 2019 and were integrated in ICF-Accredited Coach Training Programs curricula in January 2021. Updated credentialing assessments now reflecting the revised Core Competencies. Our sessions are led by expert facilitators, deeply knowledgeable about the competencies. Our webinars provide core CCEUs approved by ICF Global.
Lunch N' Learns
A lunchtime discussion held the third Wednesday of the month on a powerful theme on your coaching or coaching business, led using the principles of high-engagement convening.
Special Events
ICF Sacramento is an active member of International Coaching Week (ICW), annually in May. We offer expert panel discussions on the benefits of coaching, different forms of coaching, and what it means to be a professional coach. Our ICW celebration also includes several opportunities to provide laser coaching. Throughout the year, we host a variety of networking and celebratory events for our members.
Special Programs
ICF Sacramento offers many special programs and opportunities for members to earn hours toward their credential requirements, and to dive deeper into their learning and connect with other coaches in a safe space under the supervision of master coaches. Some examples include a small group, months-long Case Analysis and Mastermind, a reflective practice for learning and development of coaches, beyond mentoring. Our Ignite program provides opportunities for members to offer pro bono coaching to leaders of nonprofits and earn hours toward credentialing at the same time. This effort is part of a larger international movement through ICF Global to bring coaching to the most pressing needs in society. And our First 100 Hours program is designed for new coaches seeking the hours required to apply for the ACC.
Other Learning Opportunities
We periodically promote programs offered by our partners, such as WBECS, and members may post professional development programs and events to our calendar.
Most of our events are free to members and come with the opportunity to earn CCEUs toward ICF credentialing requirements.
Even if you're not currently pursuing credentialing (or advanced credentialing), we suggest that you keep the CCE certificate on file for later use, as needed.
You can ask the chapter to provide you with CCE certificates going back
as far as one year previous (but no farther than one year).
