About this event

Noon - 1:00pm Pacific Time

CCEUs:

0.75 in Core Competencies and 0.25 in Resource Development

In recent years, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs have gained significant traction in organizations, aiming to cultivate diverse work environments and ensure fair treatment for all. However, simultaneous concerns underpinned these efforts regarding the proliferation of performative DEI initiatives that lack substantive impact. Currently, DEI is under direct attack in America. Now more than ever, DAISI™: Be A Better Human emerges as the catalyst for change.

DAISI™, an acronym created by master-certified coach Dr. Frederick C. Sanders, serves as the prequel, prerequisite, and pathway to catalyzing genuine DEI shifts. Furthermore, it is a framework Dr. Sanders believes alters the way we think about DEI. By exploring these fundamentals, we aim to bring a fresh perspective and invigorate the dialogue around our efforts to be better humans.

Ultimately, the intention of DAISI™ is to elevate the conversation around DEI. As each principle unveils, it unravels its significance and the interconnection between the fabric of organizations and humanity. Embracing principles that lie deeper at the core of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice to cultivate a world where they all can be fully realized.

Key Takeaways:

  • Attendees will learn how to create safe, trusted, and inclusive spaces within their communities and organizations by integrating the DAISI™ principles.
  • Attendees will enhance their active listening skills by understanding the significance of each DAISI™ element in elevating conversations concerning human decency.
  • Attendees will cultivate a deeper understanding of how the DAISI™ principles drive intuitive change, encouraging them to apply this awareness to their personal and professional lives.
