Understanding Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) in Coaching
About this event

February 19th, 2025 Monthly Meeting
12:00- 1:00 pm Pacific Time
Join us for a thought-provoking Lunch & Learn as we dive into the true meaning of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and explore its relevance in coaching and beyond.
Our New Director of DEIB, Koi Rivers, will lead the conversation by breaking down key definitions and helping us understand what DEIB truly is. She’ll offer insights into how these principles shape our communities, workplaces, and coaching practices and why they matter for creating genuinely inclusive spaces.
To bring this conversation to life, we’re assembling a diverse panel of voices, representing different backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. This panel will help us expand our understanding of DEIB, moving beyond checkboxes to a more holistic and meaningful approach to inclusion.
At this time in our country, conversations around DEIB can sometimes be misrepresented or misunderstood. As a chapter, we believe it is more important than ever to engage in meaningful, informed discussions about what this work truly involves and how it benefits individuals and communities alike. This session is an opportunity to gain clarity, ask questions, and explore DEIB through a lens of openness and learning.
Bring your lunch, your curiosity, and an open mind as we engage in this important discussion together!
Videoconference information will be provided in an email once payment is received.
