Hello Coaches
Join ICF Sacramento for our next Lunch & Learn Session on March 24th!
Join ICF Sacramento as we use the World Cafe method to involve members in creating our Chapter’s vision for diversity, equity, inclusion and action towards anti-racism. Coaching is all about bringing out the best in others, and this is our invitation to you. We want your participation to co-create the path forward for our Chapter and the ways we support coaches, clients and our community to be more equitable and inclusive in our lives.
The World Cafe method is a simple and effective format for supporting large group dialogue by breaking into smaller groups to address a particular question or topic, and then rotating to a new small group. A designated facilitator (table host) stays at the table (or in a virtual session, the room), while the participants rotate to a new table with a new question/topic. Each new group builds on what the group before started, and culminates with a whole group sharing of insights and ideas from the small group dialogues. You will learn how the World Cafe method works through experiencing it in action.
It is a great way to get feedback in a structured way that incorporates brainstorming, building on other’s ideas, movement, drawing, and FUN! Come play with us and help us design our equitable and inclusive future together!
This Event is being coordinated by our emeritus ICF Sac Board Member, Tina Shaw, who has assembled an Equity and Inclusion Committee of several dedicated coaches from our chapter. Rooms will be hosted by members of the Equity and Inclusion Committee. It is also sponsored by our Chapter President, Laurie Cozart.
