Amara Pickens (MPA/HSA, PCC) is a dynamic and results-driven leader with over 20 years of progressive experience in coaching, facilitation, and leadership development. Born in Chicago and raised in New England, Amara often spent summers with family in the south, inspiring a love of travel and a desire to understand and work with diverse groups of people. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, World Trade & Development from UC Davis, as well as an MPA in Health Services Administration from the University of San Francisco. Amara is passionate about building strong teams in an environment that fosters an inclusive organizational culture, prioritizing employee wellness, cultural sensitivity, and effective leadership.
