About Mary
Katie Valdivia has been the manager for CalSTRS Human Resources Organizational Development unit since 2014. She is responsible for the ongoing design of enterprise-wide strategies that align to CalSTRS commitment of an engaged and developed workforce. She oversees multiple employee experience programs that support these strategic priorities and goals in service of CalSTRS staff and leaders. Programs include learning and development, onboarding, wellness, recognition, change management, leadership development, mentorship, knowledge transfer, and coaching. She is an experienced facilitator, trainer, and OD practitioner. She is currently pursuing her ICF ACC credential and is excited to join this community and chapter of coaches.
