About Lorene
Lorene Clark Lacayo, MA, PCC, NBC-HWC, RYT
Lorene has been professionally Coaching for about 15 years in a wide variety of settings with diverse individuals and groups, and in the recent years, she has become passionate about Mentoring newer Coaches to foster their growth and skills development. After working for over a decade in community health, health education, and holistic fitness with both high-risk English and Spanish-speaking communities, the emerging Coaching profession found Lorene when she first connected with Coaching pioneer Linda Bark.
Since then, her Coaching path has organically unfolded as she loves supporting individuals to create positive behavior and transformational changes while rooting into their own wisdom. Her Coaching practice has become an embodied spiritual practice, and it never ceases to amaze Lorene the vast potential that can emerge when we intentionally and courageously decide to place our attention on the changes our heart desires.
Lorene is a seasoned professional Coach and medical advocate experienced in working with both individuals and groups, and in developing/implementing a variety of NBHWC approved training programs specializing in niche areas such as Yoga Coaching with Ayurvedic principles and Emotional Well-being Coaching. She has a deep level of integrity and strong commitment to work contributions and offerings that are in alignment with ethics, values, and principles, both personally and professionally as a Coach.
In addition to holding both of the gold standard certifications, NBC-HWC and ICF-PCC, she has a Master’s degree in Holistic Health Education~Somatic Psychology and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). She currently works as a Leadership, Life, & Well-being Coach, Mentor, Facilitator, and Consultant in a variety of settings including as a Faculty Mentor Coach in the Master’s Coaching graduate degree program with Maryland University of Integrative Health.
