Biography
Though grief is a natural and normal response to loss, for many it can be hard to navigate. Feeling overwhelmed, alone, off balance, stuck, or deep longing are not uncommon.
I help those dealing with grief – whether it’s from the death of a loved one or due to other significant life challenges. Being supported through this rough terrain can decrease suffering, increase hopefulness, and illuminate empowering strength. All this can lighten the load of the grief journey.
Several times a year I offer a 7-week Navigating Loss: Creating Anew group for those dealing with the death of a loved one.
I am a certified ICF coach, have a M.S. in Counseling/Mental Health, 20-year career in hospice care in bereavement counseling and management, and a 10-year career in human resource administration in higher education. I hold a certification in Thanatology from the Association for Death Education and Counseling and I am also certified through InnerLifeSkills as an Enneagram Coach.
