President's Message
Presidents Team 2023

What a year!

As 2022 draws to a close, I am reminiscing on the connections made and experiences shared.  I am going to keep my written comments brief this month, but if you want to hear more of my reflection, I recorded a member spotlight video with Rebecca (linked in the Communications Corner).

The holiday party will be a great chance to share my appreciation with you, and I hope you can attend.  I am also excited to officially “pass the torch” to incoming President for 2023, Steve Matthews, and newly appointed President-Elect, Lisa Laughter.  Both of these leaders have become my friends, and it's a joy to work alongside them. The chapter is in store for great things.

It has been my absolute honor to serve as your President this year.  Thanks for giving me this opportunity, and for making ICF Sacramento a great community.

Cheers to you and all your wishes for the new year,

Amy

New Team Coaching Offerings Coming in Early 2023

Team coaching is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the coaching profession. In today's complex workplace, organizations increasingly recognize the power of teams to innovate and drive their business or mission forward. Team coaching is critical to harness teams' collective expertise, energy and experience to accelerate performance and improve results.

To address the increasing demand for this complex discipline, ICF will launch two new team coaching offerings in early 2023. Click here to read more through ICF Global.

It's Never Too Early - Tips for Professional Development & Credential Renewal Planning

ICF Credentials are valid for three years following the award date or the date of the last renewal. It’s never too early to develop a plan for your next credential renewal cycle!

Did you know that you can count up to a total of 10 hours of supervision, either delivery or receipt, toward your ICF Credential renewal and receive 10 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units in Core Competency credits? Coaching supervision is a collaborative learning practice designed to build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of coaches and their clients.

For more information about supervision requirements, please check out the ICF Coaching Supervision page as well as our Professional Development page.
