2022 ICF Credentialing Changes
Please read further for details regarding upcoming ICF Credentialing and Exam changes. Contact Coleen Chandler, Director of Credentialing, with any questions.
On August 1, 2022 the new ICF Credentialing Exam will replace the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA). The new exam will:

Feature 170 scenario-based questions with the updated Core Competencies.

Be administered in person or online.

Require two forms of ID.

Be proctored (supervised).
Please note: your application submission date will determine whether you take the new ICF Credentialing Exam or CKA.
July 27, 2022, at 8:59 p.m. (PDT) is the deadline to submit applications for current paths.
January 31, 2023 is when the CKA and current evaluation criteria will be retired.
Renewals: Those renewing their credential are not required to take the new exam.
