President's Message

It’s officially summer.  The warm weather (ok… “hot” weather) and longer days have me thinking of outdoor time, relaxing with friends and family.  One of my favorite social events this year has been chatting with you all at the Coaches’ Cafes.  It really fills my cup (pun intended).

You may not know that Carrie Chown, our Director of Finance, also serves as the volunteer coordinator for the coaching cafe program. It’s a fitting feature this month, since Carrie also loves the outdoors, and goes mountain biking 2-3 times a week. I asked her what she enjoys most about coaching, and she said it was the opportunity to use everything she has learned through her own life struggles to help provide empathy, space, and guidance to others.

If you have any questions about the Coaches’ Cafe program, you can reach out to Carrie for details.

I hope you all can rest and relax in the coming months, and that you will pop into our regularly scheduled programs as you are able!  We look forward to seeing you, every time.
