Presidents Message

Happy Holidays!  It is December – the twelfth month of the year, the first month of winter, and some of the shortest days of the year.  It is the season of celebration, and although that may look a little bit different this year, there is still much to be grateful for, to celebrate – family and friends, the experiences this year has brought us, the support we have provided one another, and so much more.

Twenty-Twenty has been a year for the history books.  I am remembering all that we have been able to achieve, despite the many challenges.

News from ICF Global

New Video Series: ICF Core Competencies

The updated ICF Core Competencies model was released in November 2019, marking its first update since the competencies' creation in 1998. The updated Core Competencies will be integrated in ICF Accredited Coach Training Programs curricula beginning in January 2021and updated Credentialing assessments reflecting the updated Core Competencies will launch in the second half of 2021. To give you a greater understanding about the skills and approaches used within today’s coaching profession, we have created a new eight-part video series highlighting each section of the updated ICF Core Competencies. The video series runs December 2 – 11, 2020. You can watch the

New Badges Launching for ICF Members!

According to the 2020 ICF Global Coaching Study, coaches who are members of one or more professional associations reported an average 30% higher revenue/income from coaching. To help ICF Members stand out, ICF will soon offer a new, easier-than-ever way to share your membership through ICF Membership Badges. Membership Badges will allow you to share the ICF logo and your membership status on social media, in email footers and on your website. We are pleased to provide this new service through Credly’s Acclaim platform beginning February 2, 2021. ICF Members will be notified on Wednesday, December 16, through the Member Update, and more information will be provided in January 2021.

There is no fee for this service and acceptance is totally up to the Member.
