ICF Sacramento DEIB Committee
About this event
Dates: 2nd Wednesday of the month
November 13
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am PT
ICF Sacramento’s DEIB Committee gathers monthly under the leadership of Dr. Maryam Ghadiri, our esteemed DEIB Director.
These sessions are crucial in advancing our collective commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging across all facets of our chapter’s operations and outreach.
During each meeting, we aim to reflect on our progress, address challenges, and brainstorm on innovative ways to better integrate DEIB principles into our coaching practices. Members will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions that foster personal growth and enhance our professional services, ensuring that inclusivity and equity are not just ideals but realities we actively construct and nurture within our community.
We encourage all members who are committed to shaping an equitable and inclusive environment to join us. Your unique perspectives and experiences are invaluable as we strive to celebrate diversity and ensure everyone’s voice is heard and valued.

The book is My Grandmother's Hands: Racialized Trauma and the
Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies by Resmaa Menakem,
an insightful exploration of racialized trauma and healing.
Join us to deepen your understanding and discussion of these critical themes.
